Laurel Hill Wildlife Management Area has 14,942 acres of hunting area, chert roads and lakes. There are miles and miles of horse trails and endless miles of ATV riding chert roads. The lakes are well known for their large assortment of fish including Bass, Crappie and Blue Gill. The horse trails are rolling to exciting but are great for a family experience.
The Wildlife Management Area will be CLOSED to horse riding during the following dates due to hunting:
September 20th- October 5th October 18th- October 19th October 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th November 14th, 15th and 16th November 28th, 29th, and 30th December 19th, 20th and 21st
We have 38 hook ups for trailers with water-electric. We have new clean restrooms and showers. Two new barns were recently built with stalls along with overnight turn out pens. We have planted more new trees for additional shade and continue to develop the facilitates everyday.
We are open year round with plenty of room for the large trailers and motor homes that are hard to park. We have stalls in the two new barns, turn out pens or tie out lines for the horses.
This is a great place to bring your wagon and carriage. The chert roads are great for wagons and there are miles of trails to accommodate long or short wagon rides.
The Campground is located adjacent to the parking lot on Artimis Road at the main Crossing of the horse trails and about 3.5 miles for the Boat Docks at the lake.
Natchez Trace is 3 miles away.
HWY US 64 is 1.4 miles away
